Committed, talented volunteers are key to the success of many non-profits. WomenOnCall.org volunteer members work with non-profits to perform specialized, short-term assignments… an accountant who can develop a budget… a lawyer who can review contract agreements… a writer who can help draft or review a grant application… a communications professional who can facilitate a brainstorm or informal focus group… or a graphic designer who can develop a flier for an event.

WomenOnCall.org makes giving back enjoyable and manageable. Membership is free and provides many unique volunteer opportunities that utilize your professional skills and expertise - and valuable time. By volunteering at least one hour a week, you can become more connected and involved in your community, at the same time helping non-profits meet their goals.

KEY FEATURES

• Location Choose from a variety of volunteer opportunities with non-profits and charities in your area, or find virtual opportunities with organizations across the country.
• Customized. Manage your profile by providing details about your skills and experience (such as degrees earned, job titles, previous volunteer work, etc.), as well as areas of interest (such as "animals" or "youth"). Choose your level of participation - wait for non-profits to contact you based on the skills you have opted to share, or proactively reach out to organizations that interest you.
• Time-Efficient and Unique. Decide which opportunities match your schedule. Short-term assignments allow you to use your professional skills and experience to give back in an efficient and high-impact manner.
• Secure. All WomenOnCall.org non-profit members are routinely vetted based on their 501(c)3 status.
• Free. There is no charge for this service.

GETTING STARTED

Membership is open to individuals in all 50 states. Please check off the "Virtual Volunteer" box in your profile if you are willing to assist via email/phone. This will increase the opportunities available to you, since our member non-profits may not have offices in your city or town. Once your membership has been accepted, you will gain access to your personalized Membership Center, where you can populate your profile with details about your experience and interests.
